  1. Serve as the main point of contact for international patients seeking care at our medical center.
  2. Communicate with international patients and their families to gather necessary medical information and provide information about our services.
  3. Facilitate the coordination of international patient appointments, procedures, and other medical services.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and teams within the medical center to ensure smooth and efficient care for international patients.
  5. Provide support and assistance to international patients throughout their entire experience at our medical center.
  6. Assist with the coordination of travel arrangements and accommodations for international patients and their families.
  7. Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of international healthcare policies, regulations, and requirements.
  9. Keep detailed and accurate records of all international patient interactions and services provided.
  10. Act as a cultural liaison between international patients and our medical center staff to ensure effective communication and understanding.
  11. Continuously identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to enhance the international patient experience.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to international patient care.
  13. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to international patient care.
  14. Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy policies and regulations when handling sensitive information from international patients.
  15. Proactively handle and resolve any issues or concerns raised by international patients or their families.
  16. Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to promote our international patient services and attract new patients.
  17. Represent the medical center at international conferences, events, and meetings to promote our services and build relationships with potential international patients.
  18. Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  19. Adhere to all University of Chicago Medicine policies and procedures.
  20. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, International Business, Or Public Health.

  • Fluency In At Least One Foreign Language And Cultural Competency In Working With Diverse Populations.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Role Related To Patient Coordination Or International Patient Services.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers From Different Cultural Backgrounds.

  • Knowledge Of International Healthcare Systems, Insurance Policies, And Medical Terminology.
