Job Description

The University of California, San Diego is looking for a creative and experienced Social Media Strategist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate individual who can conceptualize, create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across all major social media platforms. In addition to having a strong understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the digital space, the successful applicant will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following qualifications: • Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media campaigns• Strong understanding of the principles of SEO, including keyword research and content optimization• Experience developing and managing social media content calendars• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment• Knowledge of current and emerging social media trends• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field• At least three years of relevant experience in social mediaIf you have a passion for digital marketing and the ability to deliver innovative and effective campaigns that will increase our social media presence and engagement, we would love to hear from you.
