Job Description

The University of California, San Diego is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Statistician to join our research team. This position is responsible for providing statistical analysis and insights to inform our research activities. We are looking for a candidate who is able to work independently and collaboratively to provide sound statistical analysis and create meaningful reports. The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in statistics and/or a related field, with experience in quantitative research, statistical analysis, and data visualization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in a variety of statistical software and techniques, as well as an understanding of research methods, sampling techniques, and data interpretation. Additionally, the Senior Statistician must possess excellent communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
