Job Description

The University of California, San Diego is seeking an experienced and motivated Principal Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for using data to drive business decisions. In this role, the Principal Business Intelligence Specialist will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and optimization of UC San Diego's business intelligence systems. They must have the ability to quickly identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to help inform strategic planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience working with business intelligence and analytics, as well as exceptional analytical and technical skills. The successful candidate will be highly driven and adept at managing multiple projects and priorities. They will also have the ability to effectively communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
