Job Description

The University of California, San Diego is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The Medical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures in order to provide physicians with accurate and timely information for diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for laboratory work and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.We are looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician who is a team player and has a strong understanding of laboratory instrumentation and methodology. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field, an understanding of laboratory safety regulations, and experience with a variety of laboratory tests and procedures. The successful candidate must also be able to work independently and effectively manage their time. Additionally, excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
