  1. Perform mammography procedures and obtain high-quality images of the breast tissue for diagnostic purposes.

  3. Maintain and operate mammography equipment, including making adjustments and performing quality control checks.
  4. Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret images for accurate diagnosis.
  6. Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records.
  7. Educate patients on breast health and self-examination techniques.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mammography technology.
  9. Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines, such as HIPAA and radiation safety protocols.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
  13. Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  14. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
  15. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Mammography, With Experience In A Hospital Or Academic Medical Center Preferred

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Anatomy, And Radiographic Positioning Techniques

  • Current Bls Certification Through The American Heart Association
