Job Description

At the University of California, San Diego, we are seeking an enthusiastic, organized individual to join our team as the Lab Manager. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a research laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, be highly organized, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We are looking for a creative problem solver who is passionate about research and can effectively manage the laboratory to meet the goals of the research team.To be successful in this role, you should have an advanced degree in a scientific field, such as chemistry, biology, or physics, as well as 3+ years of laboratory experience. You must also have experience with laboratory instrumentation and safety procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively, are essential for success.
