
Inpatient Physical Therapist, Per Diem-East Campus

- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs for patients with various medical conditions and injuries.
- Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to provide a team-based approach to patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques.
- Adhere to all ethical and professional standards of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy by attending continuing education courses and participating in professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with training and supervision of physical therapy students and support staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.

Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy: A Minimum Requirement For This Position Is A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited University Or College.
State Licensure: Candidates Must Have A Valid And Active License To Practice Physical Therapy In The State Of California. A Current Cpr Certification Is Also Required.
Experience In Inpatient Physical Therapy: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Physical Therapist In An Inpatient Setting. This Includes Experience With A Variety Of Patient Populations And Conditions.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: In Addition To Clinical Expertise, The Candidate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Provide Education And Instructions To Patients And Their Families.
Flexibility And Availability: As A Per Diem Position, The Candidate Must Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work On An As-Needed Basis. This May Include Weekends And Holidays. Additionally, The Candidate Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Patient Needs And Work Collaboratively With Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
