  1. Provide high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services to patients at the University of California, San Diego East Campus location.
  2. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment techniques and goals.
  4. Utilize a variety of modalities and techniques to help patients achieve their treatment goals.
  5. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  6. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to aid in their recovery.
  7. Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care and progress.
  8. Stay current with advancements in the field of physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  9. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and contribute to patient care plans.
  10. Serve as a resource and mentor to other physical therapy staff and students.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
  12. Contribute to ongoing research and education initiatives at the University of California, San Diego.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and the organization as a whole.
  14. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and provide the highest quality care.
  15. Represent the University of California, San Diego in a positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current State License To Practice As A Physical Therapist.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Inpatient Physical Therapist.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Physical Therapy Treatment Techniques And Modalities.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
