Job Description

The University of California, San Diego is seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to serve as an Industry and Community Liaison Specialist. The ideal candidate will be an organized, personable, and service-oriented professional with experience in building relationships between the university and the surrounding communities. The Industry and Community Liaison Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate, governmental, and community stakeholders, as well as facilitating and promoting activities that strengthen the relationship between the university and its external partners. This role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a keen understanding of the higher education industry and the surrounding communities. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have:- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field- At least three years of experience in community engagement, relationship building, and/or corporate partnerships- Knowledge of the higher education industry and the surrounding communities- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and organizational skills- The ability to work independently and collaboratively If you are a highly organized and personable professional with a passion for building relationships between the University of California, San Diego and its external partners, we want to hear from you!
