Job Description

The University of California, San Diego is seeking a Human Resources and Business Services Manager who can provide strategic leadership and direction in the areas of Human Resources and Business Services. This position requires a high degree of collaboration, creativity, and initiative to ensure successful and positive outcomes in the areas of employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, performance management, training and development, and compliance with applicable laws.We are looking for an individual who possesses a combination of business acumen, interpersonal skills, and the ability to think strategically. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of three years of professional Human Resources experience is required, with at least one year of experience in a supervisory or management role. Experience with payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, and training and development is preferred. Familiarity with applicable laws and regulations, as well as an understanding of financial principles and practices, are essential for this position.The Human Resources and Business Services Manager must be an organized, detail-oriented team player with excellent communication skills. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering superior customer service and is able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
