  1. Provide high-quality hand therapy services to patients of the University of California, San Diego.
  2. Utilize your expertise in hand therapy to improve the quality of life for patients.
  3. Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  4. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' hand function and create individualized treatment plans.
  5. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  12. Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to obtain authorization for services.
  14. Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced therapists.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the University of California, San Diego.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited University.

  • Current License To Practice As An Occupational Therapist In The State Of California.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Occupational Therapist, With A Focus On Hand Therapy.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In A Variety Of Hand Therapy Techniques And Interventions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Populations And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
