Job Description

The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) is currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Grants Manager/Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an innovative problem solver, a self-starter, and have a strong background in financial analysis. The Grants Manager/Financial Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the grant life cycle, from proposal development to post-award management. This individual will be required to analyze and interpret financial data, track and monitor expenditures, and develop reports. The Grants Manager/Financial Analyst will also be called upon to collaborate with other departments throughout the university to ensure all grants are managed efficiently and effectively.The successful candidate for this position must possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and at least three years of relevant experience. Knowledge of grant management, financial analysis, and budgeting is required. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and time management skills. In addition, candidates must have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
