- Develop and oversee project plans and timelines for global health research projects.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring timely and efficient use of resources.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various research teams and stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Maintain effective communication and foster strong relationships with project partners and collaborators.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with all ethical and regulatory requirements related to global health research.
- Manage project data and documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility.
- Conduct regular project evaluations and provide reports to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in global health research to inform project strategies and activities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, providing mentorship and support to team members.
- Represent the University of California, San Diego at conferences, meetings, and other relevant events related to global health research.
- Contribute to the dissemination of project findings through presentations, publications, and other knowledge-sharing platforms.
- Serve as a liaison between project teams and university administration, providing regular updates and reports on project progress and outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Uphold the university's mission and values, promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and project activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Public Health, Global Health, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Managing Research Projects In The Global Health Field.
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Global Health Issues, Policies, And Research Methods.
Proven Experience In Budget Management And Grant Writing For Global Health Research Projects.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team Of Researchers And Stakeholders.
