- Conduct financial counseling sessions with students and their families to help them develop and implement effective financial plans
- Provide personalized and objective financial advice based on individual needs and goals
- Assist students with budgeting and managing their expenses, including education costs, loans, and credit card debt
- Educate students on financial concepts and strategies, such as saving, investing, and managing debt
- Stay up-to-date with financial trends and regulations to ensure accurate and relevant advice
- Collaborate with other university departments, such as financial aid and academic advising, to provide comprehensive support to students
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive financial information
- Develop and facilitate financial literacy workshops and seminars for students and campus community
- Utilize various resources, including financial tools and software, to assist students in their financial planning
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of counseling sessions and financial plans for students
- Continuously assess and improve counseling techniques and services to meet the evolving needs of students and their families.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Economics Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Financial Counseling Or Related Field.
