  1. Develop and implement strategies to support and improve the academic experience for faculty members.
  2. Conduct data analysis and provide recommendations to the Dean regarding academic personnel policies and procedures.
  3. Serve as a resource for faculty members regarding academic personnel matters, including appointments, promotions, and leaves.
  4. Collaborate with department chairs and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with academic personnel policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of faculty appointments, promotions, and leaves.
  6. Prepare reports and presentations for the Dean and other university administrators on faculty personnel data and trends.
  7. Review and update academic personnel policies and procedures in accordance with university and state regulations.
  8. Provide guidance and support to faculty members on navigating the academic personnel process.
  9. Coordinate and facilitate training programs for faculty members on academic personnel policies and procedures.
  10. Stay informed on current trends and best practices in academic personnel management and make recommendations for improvements.
  11. Collaborate with human resources department to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for faculty members.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  13. Act as a liaison between the Dean's office and faculty members regarding academic personnel matters.
  14. Assist with special projects and initiatives related to faculty development and satisfaction.
  15. Communicate effectively with all levels of the university community, including faculty, administrators, and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Academic Personnel Administration, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Knowledge Of University Of California Academic Personnel Policies And Procedures.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Experience In Data Analysis And Reporting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Group Of Faculty, Staff, And Administrators.
