Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Tech to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CT Tech, you will play a crucial role in our radiology department, utilizing your expertise to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for our patients.   1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT technology to accurately capture and analyze patient images.
  2. Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of CT equipment, including regular quality checks and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
  3. Administer contrast media as needed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, procedure details, and equipment maintenance logs.
  5. Explain procedures to patients and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all infection control and safety protocols.
  7. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of images.
  8. Continuously assess and improve technical skills and knowledge through ongoing education and training opportunities.
  9. Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times.
  10. Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
  11. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in all aspects of the job.
  13. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the radiology department or hospital administration.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Current Certification As A Ct Technologist By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Ct Technologist In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Advanced Imaging Techniques And Equipment, Including Multi-Slice Ct Scanners.
