Job Description

Are you an analytical, detail-oriented professional with a passion for healthcare finance? The University of California, San Diego is currently seeking a highly experienced Clinical Revenue Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle team. In this role, you will take the lead on a variety of functions that are essential to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring our hospital systems are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle position. Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, coding, and collections is also essential. You must have an excellent understanding of healthcare reimbursement and the ability to analyze complex financial data to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement. A knack for problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to customer service are also essential.If you’re looking for an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the financial health of a world-renowned university, then this could be the job for you.
