  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of clinical research projects at the University of California, San Diego, including planning, execution, and completion.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive innovative research projects that have the potential to transform patient care.
  3. Collaborate with researchers, physicians, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials.
  4. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to clinical research.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, investigators, and regulatory agencies.
  6. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient and timely completion of research studies.
  7. Train and supervise research staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the quality and integrity of data collection and management.
  8. Oversee the recruitment and enrollment of study participants, ensuring adherence to inclusion/exclusion criteria.
  9. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  10. Prepare and submit study progress reports to sponsors and regulatory agencies as required.
  11. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for clinical research activities.
  12. Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to clinical research.
  13. Participate in the development and implementation of new research protocols.
  14. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the clinical research team.
  15. Contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge and the improvement of patient care through innovative research projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Life Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Or Public Health.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research Management, Preferably In An Academic Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Guidelines Related To Clinical Research, Including Irb And Fda Requirements.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Multiple Research Projects Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders Including Researchers, Physicians, Study Participants, And External Partners.
