Job Description

The University of California, San Diego is looking for an outstanding Call Center Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional customer service to our students, faculty, and staff. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic call center environment. To be successful, you should be able to think on your feet and provide accurate and timely support to our customers.The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: excellent customer service, effective communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills; a working knowledge of computers and associated software; the ability to work independently and in a team setting; and the ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. In addition, the ideal candidate should have experience in call center operations, preferably in a higher education setting.
