Job Description

The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) seeks a creative, organized, and motivated individual to serve as the Administrative and Fellowship Coordinator. This individual will be tasked with providing administrative and programmatic support for the Graduate Division, with a focus on the fellowship programs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create and maintain a seamless fellowship application and review process, as well as improve upon current policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, a customer service mindset and an eagerness to learn. They should also have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities. The successful candidate should have a genuine interest in supporting the success of graduate students and the university overall. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience• At least two years of administrative experience• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other relevant software• Ability to maintain confidentiality• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
