Apply NowCoordinate delivery processes for all resident mail (including packages) across carriers (e.g., USPS, Amazon, UPS, DHL) to ensure correct protocols are followed for delivery of mail/package in the dorms. Maintain and communicate the procedures for collection and distribution of all resident mail. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with campus and Housing partners, mail/package carriers, and package locker vendors. Oversee package lockers on campus, coordinating with package locker vendors, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring their use. Research and identify best practices regarding customer service, staffing, and mail, with potential for implementation within the department. Develop, implement, and assess training on federal laws related to mail, FERPA, and other applicable guidelines. Provide regular and timely response to mail or package concerns. Regularly assess condition of package rooms, mailboxes, package lockers, helping schedule regular maintenance and upkeep of the area.
Ability to work independently and work well on a team
Knowledge of how to utilize database and computer systems
Ability to have a cell phone and/or remote connectivity
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
Experience working in a university setting
