Job Description

At University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center, we are looking for a Supervisor of our Sleep Lab who is passionate about providing top-tier patient care and ensuring a high-functioning department. The successful candidate for this position will be a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to excellence and a background in sleep studies, medical technology, or a related field. Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the Sleep Lab.
  2. Oversee the scheduling of sleep studies and ensure the timely completion of sleep studies.
  3. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
  4. Train and manage staff, as well as ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  5. Develop and monitor the department budget, coordinate the purchasing of supplies and equipment, and manage the maintenance of the equipment.
  6. Monitor and assess patient outcomes and ensure patient satisfaction through regular surveys and feedback.
  7. Collaborate with other departments within the hospital and external organizations to coordinate care and promote integrated, patient-centered care.
  8. Participate in research projects and initiatives related to sleep studies and sleep medicine.
  9. Serve as a resource to sleep study technicians, providing guidance and instruction.
  10. Represent the Sleep Lab in meetings and serve as a liaison with other healthcare providers.
