RN PRN - Emergency Services

1. Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care to diverse populations in the emergency department.
2. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and maintain patient safety.
6. Assess patient needs and respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions.
7. Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
8. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
9. Maintain current knowledge of emergency nursing practices and procedures, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
11. Adhere to regulatory standards and comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
12. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring patient rights and ethical principles are upheld.
13. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
14. Serve as a role model for other healthcare team members, demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and teamwork.
