- Provide exceptional patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in the Neuro ICU.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment, making adjustments as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and respond to changes in patient condition, including recognizing and reporting potential complications.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Educate patients and their families on their plan of care, including procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills in the field of neurocritical care.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to new graduate nurses, providing guidance and support as they transition into their roles.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and overall unit performance.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Typically Required For A Registered Nurse Position At University Hospitals Of Cleveland Medical Center.
