University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a highly-skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonary Hypertension team. As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to provide specialized care to patients with pulmonary hypertension and contribute to cutting-edge research and treatments.   1. Provide specialized nursing care to patients with pulmonary hypertension, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assessing patient response to treatment.
  2. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients based on their unique needs and medical history.
  3. Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and respond to changes in a patient's condition and provide appropriate interventions.
  4. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the treatment process.
  5. Assist with cutting-edge research and treatments for pulmonary hypertension, including collecting data and participating in clinical trials.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including documentation of assessments, treatments, and medications administered.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  8. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest developments in pulmonary hypertension care and treatment.
  9. Serve as a patient advocate, addressing any concerns or issues and working to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
  10. Demonstrate a commitment to the hospital's mission and values, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Ohio

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Higher

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pulmonary Or Critical Care Nursing

  • Certification In Pulmonary Hypertension Nursing (Chpn) Preferred

  • Knowledge Of Pulmonary Hypertension Treatments And Interventions, Including Administration Of Pulmonary Vasodilators And Management Of Hemodynamic Monitoring
