  1. Operate XRay equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures.

  3. Adjust XRay equipment to obtain high-quality images and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and answer any questions or concerns.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to determine the appropriate XRay images needed for accurate diagnosis.
  6. Follow safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment to prevent the spread of infections.
  7. Maintain accurate records of XRay images and patient information.
  8. Monitor and maintain inventory of XRay equipment and supplies.
  9. Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in XRay technology.
  10. Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  11. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet patient needs.
  12. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  13. Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Assist in training and mentoring new Radiographers.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • A Degree In Radiologic Technology: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Degree In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have Received The Necessary Education And Training To Perform X-Rays Accurately And Safely.

  • State Licensure And Certification: The Candidate Should Also Hold A Valid State License And Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt). This Is A Requirement For Practicing As A Radiographer In Most States And Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Required Standards For The Profession.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Imaging Equipment: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Medical Imaging Equipment, Including X-Ray Machines, Ct Scanners, And Mri Machines. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Latest Technology And Techniques In The Field To Provide The Best Possible Patient Care.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Radiographer, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Be Able To Accurately Position Patients, Follow Protocols, And Capture High-Quality Images. They Should Also Have Excellent Observation Skills To Identify Any Abnormalities Or Errors In The Images.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Radiographers Work Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Explain Procedures To Patients, Provide Reassurance, And Work Well In A Team Environment.
