Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator, Pharmacy Compliance to join the University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing the highest quality of patient care and a commitment to ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations.The Program Coordinator, Pharmacy Compliance will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the pharmacy’s compliance program to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with other departments and personnel.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; at least three years of experience in a healthcare compliance role; and a current pharmacy license in the state of Ohio. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive pharmacy compliance policies and procedures.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance activities.
  3. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy personnel on compliance related issues.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  5. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory bodies.
  6. Identify and address potential compliance risks.
  7. Stay current with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  8. Research and analyze compliance issues to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Maintain up-to-date records of all compliance activities.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for pharmacy personnel.
