  1. Provide exceptional care to patients by assisting the physical therapist in implementing treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with the physical therapist and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the physical therapist.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
  7. Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient appointments.
  8. Monitor and restock supplies as needed.
  9. Stay up-to-date with current physical therapy techniques and procedures.
  10. Attend team meetings and participate in continuing education opportunities.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  13. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment and progress.
  14. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  15. Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure proper documentation and billing.
  16. Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
  17. Maintain a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned by the physical therapist or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Physical Therapy Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current State Licensure As A Physical Therapist Assistant In Ohio.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In An Acute Care Or Rehabilitation Facility.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Team Members.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Efficiently Manage A Varied Caseload, While Maintaining High Quality Patient Care.
