At University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center, we are looking for a passionate Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment to a broad range of patients. The successful candidate will have a commitment to providing quality patient care and a desire to be part of a dynamic team.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, be board certified in Psychiatry, and have experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric disorders. You must have a current license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio and be eligible for hospital privileges. Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively, are essential for this role. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide appropriate treatment for a wide range of patients • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams • Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure quality patient care • Document all patient evaluations, progress notes, and other related medical records • Participate in continuous professional development and maintain current licensure • Provide education on mental health and psychiatric disorders to patients and families • Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with colleagues and other health care professionals
