Medical Degree: The Candidate Must Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Orthopaedics By The American Board Of Orthopaedic Surgery (Abos) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Orthopedic Surgery (Aobos).
Residency Training: The Candidate Must Have Completed A Residency In Orthopaedic Surgery From An Accredited Program.
Fellowship Training: Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who Have Completed A Fellowship In A Subspecialty Of Orthopaedics Such As Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement, Or Spine Surgery.
Licensure And Credentials: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Unrestricted Medical License In The State Of Ohio And Be Eligible For Medical Staff Privileges At University Hospitals Of Cleveland Medical Center. They Must Also Have A Current Dea Registration And Be Able To Obtain Credentials From Insurance Companies.
