Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Physician Specializing In Cardiology At University Hospitals Of Cleveland Medical Center Must Hold A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Residency Training: Candidates Must Have Completed A Residency Program In Internal Medicine Or Family Medicine, Followed By A Fellowship In Cardiology. The Residency And Fellowship Programs Should Be Accredited By The Accreditation Council For Graduate Medical Education (Acgme).

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Cardiology By The American Board Of Internal Medicine (Abim) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Internal Medicine (Aobim).

  • State Medical License: A Valid And Unrestricted State Medical License Is Required To Practice Medicine In Ohio And To Obtain Privileges At University Hospitals Of Cleveland Medical Center.

  • Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Cardiology, With A Strong Emphasis On Diagnosing And Treating Heart Conditions. Experience In Conducting And Interpreting Diagnostic Tests Such As Echocardiograms, Stress Tests, And Cardiac Catheterization Is Also Preferred.
