- Provide exceptional care and support to patients throughout their stay at University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols and hospital policies.
- Respond to patient needs promptly and compassionately, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Keep accurate and thorough records of patient care activities.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, including patient confidentiality.
- Attend and participate in training and educational programs to maintain and improve job knowledge and skills.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Follow all hospital protocols and procedures for emergency situations.
- Report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assist in the transportation of patients to and from procedures or appointments.
- Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and quality of care.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Cna Certification From An Accredited Institution.
Previous Experience: Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Patient Care Nurse Assistant In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Candidates Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For Effective Communication With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: Candidates Must Have A Good Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Be Familiar With Common Medical Procedures Performed In A Hospital Setting.
