  1. Perform routine maintenance and repair on a wide range of medical equipment, including but not limited to diagnostic imaging machines, patient monitors, and surgical instruments.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot issues with medical equipment to identify and resolve any malfunctions or defects.
  3. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets their needs for patient care.
  4. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical technology and equipment to make recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
  6. Respond promptly to urgent repair requests and prioritize tasks to minimize disruption to patient care.
  7. Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure timely repairs and replacements.
  8. Communicate effectively with vendors and external service providers to schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance services.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when handling and repairing medical equipment.
  10. Train and mentor new technicians on equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
  11. Provide excellent customer service and support to medical staff and patients, addressing any concerns or questions related to equipment functionality.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired, including coordinating with IT for software updates and upgrades.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  14. Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications

  • Attention To Detail: Medical Equipment Repair Technicians Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That Equipment Is Properly Maintained And Repaired. This Includes Following Safety Protocols And Maintaining Accurate Records Of Repairs And Maintenance.
