Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center's Heart and Vascular department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a valid LPN license in the state of Ohio, as well as at least one year of acute care experience. You should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you should be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks while providing quality patient care. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care in the Heart and Vascular department at University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center.
  2. Administer medications according to approved protocols.
  3. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
  4. Maintain a valid LPN license in the state of Ohio.
  5. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  6. Maintain a positive attitude and work in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Prioritize tasks while providing quality patient care.
  8. Monitor patient progress and document changes in patient condition.
  9. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Follow established policies and procedures to ensure quality and safety of patient care.
