Job Description

At University Hospitals of Cleveland Medical Center, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Associate GME Program Administrator for Psychiatry. As an integral member of our Graduate Medical Education (GME) department, you will play a key role in supporting the training and development of our future psychiatrists. We are looking for someone who is passionate about medical education and has a strong understanding of the psychiatry field.   1. Support the daily operations of the Psychiatry Graduate Medical Education (GME) program.
  2. Assist in the coordination and execution of educational activities for residents and fellows.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with faculty, residents, and staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Manage and maintain resident and fellow records, including evaluations and schedules.
  5. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new residents and fellows.
  6. Support the planning and implementation of orientation and educational programs for incoming residents and fellows.
  7. Collaborate with the GME team to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulations.
  8. Serve as a resource for residents and fellows, addressing any questions or concerns related to the program.
  9. Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives for the GME program.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in the psychiatry field to enhance the educational experience for residents and fellows.
  11. Support the planning and execution of GME conferences and events.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations in handling resident and fellow information.
  13. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to the GME program.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a positive and effective learning environment for residents and fellows.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures within the GME program.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Gme Program Administration Role, Preferably In Psychiatry.

  • Knowledge Of Acgme Accreditation Standards And Procedures.

  • Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Variety Of Stakeholders Including Residents, Faculty, And Hospital Staff.
