  1. Provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in the Inpatient Trauma/Trauma ICU department.
  2. Collaborate with the trauma team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and mental health status.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  6. Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  8. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  12. Provide support and guidance to other healthcare team members.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Comply with all state and federal regulations related to advanced practice providers.
  15. Display professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients and their families.
  16. Foster a patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  17. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients.
  18. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  19. Attend and participate in departmental and hospital-wide meetings and trainings.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As An Aprn In A Trauma Or Critical Care Setting.

  • Master's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field With Specialization In Acute Care Or Critical Care.

  • Current Certification As An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) With Specialty Certification In Acute Care Or Critical Care.

  • Ability To Obtain And Maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certifications.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge Of Advanced Practice Procedures, Including Intubation, Central Line Placement, And Management Of Complex Trauma Patients.
