- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to the company on all matters related to corporate and securities law.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Monitor and advise on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement legal strategies that support the company's business objectives.
- Serve as a key point of contact for external legal counsel and manage relationships with outside legal advisors.
- Lead and manage legal negotiations and transactions.
- Develop and deliver legal training and education programs to employees.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
- Provide guidance and support to other members of the legal team.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments in corporate and securities law.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, as needed.
- Communicate complex legal concepts and advice to non-legal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve and streamline legal processes and procedures.
- Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a culture of compliance within the company.
- Continuously assess and improve the company's legal compliance program.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Extensive Legal Experience: A Senior Managing Counsel At Unity Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, With A Focus On Corporate And Securities Law. This Experience Should Include A Strong Understanding Of Sec Regulations, Corporate Governance, And M&A Transactions.
Strong Business Acumen: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of The Gaming And Technology Industries, As Well As The Ability To Anticipate Legal Issues And Provide Strategic Advice To Senior Management On Business Decisions.
Leadership Skills: This Role Will Require The Candidate To Manage A Team Of Attorneys And Legal Professionals, So Strong Leadership Skills Are A Must. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Developing A Team, As Well As The Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
