We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Leave & Absence Specialist for our EMEA region. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting our employees across Europe, Middle East, and Africa with leave and absence management.   1. Manage all aspects of leave and absence for Unity's EMEA region, including but not limited to FMLA, sick leave, parental leave, and disability accommodations.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave and absence inquiries and requests.
  3. Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations related to leave and absence.
  4. Develop and maintain leave and absence policies and procedures for the EMEA region.
  5. Provide guidance and support to managers on leave and absence processes, including training and education.
  6. Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and consistent approach to leave and absence management.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all leave and absence cases.
  8. Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  9. Monitor and report on leave and absence trends to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  10. Act as an advocate for employees, ensuring their well-being and rights are protected during the leave and absence process.
  11. Partner with external vendors and resources to provide necessary support for complex leave and absence cases.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to leave and absence management.
  13. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance Unity's overall HR strategy.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  15. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting Unity's values and culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Emea Leave And Absence Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Various Leave And Absence Laws In The Emea Region, Including Maternity/Paternity Leave, Sick Leave, And Holiday Entitlements.

  • Strong Experience In Leave And Absence Management: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Leave And Absence Processes, Including Handling Complex Cases And Providing Guidance To Employees And Managers.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Senior Leave & Absence Specialist Will Be Responsible For Communicating Leave And Absence Policies And Procedures To Employees, As Well As Providing Support And Guidance To Managers. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Familiarity With Hris Systems And Data Analysis: Proficiency In Using Hris Systems To Manage And Track Leave And Absence Data Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Data Analysis And Reporting To Identify Trends And Make Recommendations For Process Improvements.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Manage Multiple Tasks: The Senior Leave & Absence Specialist Will Be Responsible For Managing A High Volume Of Leave And Absence Requests And Inquiries. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Work Independently, Prioritize Tasks Effectively, And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
