  1. Conduct thorough and detailed testing of Unity software products, including identifying and reporting bugs, defects, and other issues.
  2. Collaborate with software developers and other team members to understand project requirements and design effective testing strategies.
  3. Execute test cases and document results, ensuring that all requirements are met and quality standards are maintained.
  4. Continuously improve and update testing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and technologies.
  6. Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  7. Conduct regression testing and provide support for release activities.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates on testing progress and any issues or concerns.
  9. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions for improving the testing process.
  10. Take ownership of assigned tasks and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for quality assurance.

Job Qualifications

  • Basic Understanding Of Software Testing Principles And Methodologies - Candidates Should Possess A Foundational Knowledge Of Software Testing Techniques, Such As Regression Testing, Functional Testing, And Exploratory Testing.

  • Familiarity With Programming Languages And Scripting Tools - A Solid Understanding Of Programming Languages Commonly Used In Game Development, Such As C# And Unityscript, Is Essential For A Junior Test Engineer. Familiarity With Scripting Tools Like Python And Powershell Is Also Beneficial.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills - Junior Test Engineers Must Be Able To Think Critically And Troubleshoot Issues Efficiently. They Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Potential Problems And Bugs In Software.
