
Senior Infusion Pharm Technician

- Prepare and dispense medications to infusion patients accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock of medications for infusion patients.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure the appropriate selection and dosing of medications for infusion patients.
- Accurately enter and maintain patient and medication information in electronic records.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the safe and accurate preparation of medications.
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy technicians on best practices and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of infusion pharmacy.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all medication transactions and patient interactions.
- Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to pharmacy operations.
- Continuously assess and improve processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in medication preparation and delivery.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Pharmacy Setting, With At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Infusion Pharmacy.
Current Certification As A Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) By The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb).
In-Depth Knowledge Of Sterile Compounding Procedures And Usp 797 Guidelines.
Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Independently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
