  1. Design and implement data center network infrastructure to support UnitedHealth Group's critical business operations.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and ensure maximum network availability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop network solutions that meet those needs.
  4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers in the team.
  5. Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  6. Monitor network performance and proactively identify and address potential network bottlenecks or failures.
  7. Configure and maintain network security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
  8. Stay updated with the latest network technologies and trends and make recommendations for network improvements and upgrades.
  9. Work with vendors to evaluate and procure new network equipment and services.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical network issues.
  11. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of network infrastructure with other systems and applications.
  12. Adhere to IT policies, standards, and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant network environment.
  13. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to optimize network performance and efficiency.
  14. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on network projects and initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Network Engineering, Specifically In Data Center Environments.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience With Design, Implementation, And Troubleshooting Of Data Center Networks, Including Routing, Switching, And Load Balancing.

  • Strong Understanding Of Virtualization Technologies, Such As Vmware, And Experience With Software-Defined Networking (Sdn).

  • Professional Certifications Such As Ccie, Ccnp, Or Jncie Are Preferred.
