  1. Conduct functional testing of products and services to ensure they meet quality standards.
  2. Identify and report defects and issues found during testing.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and create test plans.
  4. Execute test cases and document test results accurately.
  5. Analyze and interpret test results to determine product functionality and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Proactively identify potential functional issues and work with the development team to resolve them.
  7. Develop and maintain test scripts and test data for future use.
  8. Participate in product design and development discussions to provide input on potential functional issues.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in functional testing.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing progress and issues.
  11. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality assurance process.
  12. Train and mentor junior team members on functional testing techniques and best practices.
  13. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  14. Prioritize and manage multiple testing tasks to meet project deadlines.
  15. Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance overall product quality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: A Quality Analyst - Functional Testing At Unitedhealth Group Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Computer Science Or A Related Field To Effectively Understand And Evaluate Software Systems.

  • Experience In Software Testing And Quality Assurance: The Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Software Testing And Quality Assurance, With A Focus On Functional Testing, In Order To Effectively Identify And Report Any Defects In The Software.

  • Knowledge Of Testing Methodologies And Tools: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Testing Methodologies And Tools, Such As Agile, Waterfall, And Selenium, To Efficiently Plan And Execute Testing Processes.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Quality Analyst - Functional Testing Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Effectively Identify And Troubleshoot Any Issues Or Defects In The Software, And Provide Solutions To Improve Its Quality.

  • Effective Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Clearly Communicate Testing Results And Recommendations To Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Work Well In A Team And Adapt To Changing Project Requirements.
