Job Description

Build infrastructure as automation code for the public cloud. Design, implement, configure, and maintain Azure Cloud Services. Work on projects requiring packaging, deploying and managing containerized workloads running on Kubernetes. Resolve issues and provide technical assistance on the Azure cloud-hosted environment. Create and maintain Cloud security strategies, policies, procedures, and documentation. Optimize Azure buildouts for cost and performance. Identify opportunities for improvement, optimize performance and scalability of existing solutions. Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Promote a DevOps culture to deliver high quality applications and infrastructure. Actively mentor team members and customers through code reviews, design reviews and overview sessions. Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn new technologies and patterns.

Job Qualifications

  • 5 + years of professional IT experience

  • 3+ years of scripting experience with Terraform, Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell and automation tooling

  • 3+ years of experience, packaging, deploying and managing containerized workloads running in common PaaS solutions

  • 2+ years of experience administering applications in public cloud (Azure, AWS and/or GCP)
