  1. Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for accurately and efficiently dispensing medications to patients as per their prescriptions.
  2. Maintaining Inventory: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring medications are stored properly.
  3. Assisting Pharmacists: The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists to verify prescriptions, provide medication information to patients, and assist with other tasks as needed.
  4. Processing Insurance Claims: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for processing insurance claims and ensuring accurate billing for medications.
  5. Providing Customer Service: The Pharmacy Technician will be the first point of contact for patients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  6. Maintaining Records: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of medications dispensed, inventory levels, and patient information.
  7. Ensuring Compliance: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  8. Troubleshooting: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting any issues related to medication dispensing, insurance claims, or inventory management.
  9. Participating in Training: The Pharmacy Technician will be expected to attend and actively participate in training sessions to stay updated on new medications, procedures, and industry changes.
  10. Adhering to Quality Standards: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for adhering to quality standards and protocols to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
  11. Collaborating with Team: The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and provide support when needed.
  12. Maintaining Confidentiality: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and following HIPAA guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Accreditation From A Recognized Institution.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Relevant Experience As A Pharmacy Technician In A Retail Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Terminology, Drug Interactions, And Medication Dosages.

  • Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software Used In Pharmacy Operations, Such As Pharmacy Dispensing Systems And Electronic Health Records.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team And With Healthcare Professionals.
