Job Description

  1. Work collaboratively with experienced pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  2. Participate in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment, adapting to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
  3. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to learning, taking advantage of opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in various areas of pharmacy practice.
  4. Prioritize tasks effectively to balance patient care responsibilities, learning opportunities, and other duties as assigned.

  8. Participate in departmental and organizational initiatives to improve patient outcomes and enhance the delivery of pharmacy services.
  9. Proactively identify and report medication errors or adverse drug events to ensure patient safety.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development, actively engaging in self-directed learning and seeking feedback from preceptors and mentors.
  11. Serve as a role model for other pharmacy students and residents, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of new pharmacy services and processes, working collaboratively with the pharmacy team.
  13. Fulfill all residency program requirements, including completing assigned projects, participating in rotations, and attending educational sessions.
  14. Maintain accurate and complete records of patient care activities, adhering to all confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of UnitedHealth Group, promoting a positive work culture and contributing to the organization's success.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution

  • Completion Of A Post-Graduate Year 1 (Pgy1) Pharmacy Residency Program

  • Active Pharmacy License In The State Of Employment

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Skills In Various Disease States And Medication Therapy Management

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team-Based Environment
