Excellent Communication Skills: Patient Services Representatives Are Required To Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Insurance Companies On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Customer Service Experience: As A Patient Services Representative, You Will Be The Primary Point Of Contact For Patients. Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Is Highly Desirable.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Terminology And Insurance Processes: A Good Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Processes Is Crucial For A Patient Services Representative To Accurately Assist Patients With Their Inquiries And Claims.
