Outpatient Facility Coder

At UnitedHealth Group, we are looking for an experienced Outpatient Facility Coder to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, organized and highly knowledgeable in coding principles and practices. We are looking for a coder who has the ability to understand clinical documentation and accurately assign codes to patient encounters. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to multi-task effectively, and provide excellent customer service.To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate your ability to read and interpret medical documentation, assign appropriate codes utilizing the latest coding guidelines and regulations, and maintain accuracy when coding for all outpatient facility services. You should also have a comprehensive understanding of all coding compliance issues, including CMS regulations.
