- Conduct comprehensive and accurate assessments of patient health conditions in the comfort of their homes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Perform routine physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on preventive care, disease management, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Monitor and track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the delivery of care.

Advanced Degree: Possession Of A Master's Degree Or Higher In Nursing From An Accredited Institution Is A Necessary Qualification For A Nurse Practitioner Role At Unitedhealth Group. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice.
Active State License: A Valid And Current State License As A Nurse Practitioner Is A Must-Have For This Role. The Candidate Must Have Passed The Relevant Licensure Exams And Must Be In Good Standing With The State Board Of Nursing.
Specialized Certification: Unitedhealth Group Prefers Candidates Who Have Additional Certifications In Their Specialty Area, Such As Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Or Pediatrics. These Certifications Demonstrate A Higher Level Of Expertise And Commitment To The Field.
Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Nurse Practitioner Is Required For This Role. This Experience Should Include Managing And Treating Patients With Acute And Chronic Conditions, Performing Physical Examinations, And Prescribing Medications.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Housecalls Nurse Practitioner, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Conducting Home Visits And Communicating With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
