  1. Perform mobile phlebotomy services in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
  2. Travel to patients' homes or designated locations to collect blood samples and other specimens for testing.
  3. Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection and handling to maintain accuracy and integrity.
  4. Utilize proper equipment and techniques to obtain blood samples, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
  5. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transport of specimens according to regulations and company policies.
  6. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all phlebotomy services, including patient information, sample collection, and test orders.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to coordinate appointments, explain procedures, and address any concerns.
  8. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  9. Stay current on phlebotomy techniques, safety procedures, and industry developments to improve skills and provide quality care.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  11. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  13. Attend required training and educational programs to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician: Applicants For A Mobile Phlebotomist Position At Unitedhealth Group Should Have A Valid Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician From An Accredited Institution.
